Abstract
The processing of land-use type information until its incorporation into an environmental model is often completely manual. This paper proposes the obtention ol a land-use type map through a direct processing of a multispectral image produced by the Thematic Mapper sensor (TM) borne on the Landsat satellite series ihe application of a combined methodology permits to automatise the search and the classification phases relying on an analyst in the labeling phase, though the analyst can operate in intermediate stages. 1 Introduction Environment
