Abstract
This article analyses the profile of the two fundamental foreign traveller market
segments. Specifically, German and British visitors of tourism destinations of
Northern Greece are analysed. The analysis results contribute toward a better
understanding of the preferences and behaviour of these two market segments. In
addition, based on the results of the study, the development of a special database
at an international level regarding information on the preferences and behaviour
of the two groups is also possible.
