Abstract
In our paper the UTD (Uniform Theory of Diffraction) modified method of loss
propagation calculation in urban areas is presented. This modified method is
concerned with using geometry optic to propagation model and formula
application that occur in the UTD method for reflection and diffraction wave
coefficients. The superposition method is used to calculate the resultant field. On
the basis of the analysis done, the calculation algorithm is proposed. The
calculations presented in this paper are hypothetical

In recent years personal communication systems have been dynamically
developed. An increase of requirements in the quality of service and scope
accompany minimalization of power emissions by radio equipment. This
requirement realizes both the cordless telephony and 2G/3G cell telephony
