Abstract
An explicit rule based solving engine seems able to estimate any parameter with
some advantages regarding evaluation time and solution accuracy. The usual
approach requires, for the evaluation of a single scenario, the inversion of the
matrix of related coefficient while the solver rule procedure allows easy
adjustments of the evaluation engine. In the former approach, a rapid
atmospheric state modification could require an entire re-formulation of the
governing equation. This is more evident if related to special scenarios such as
valley or coast/valley environments. In this work the problem of a finite volume
formulation of the wind field equations is addressed to relate approximations of
governing equations to low atmosphere coastal environments. The approach
