Rough Mereology For Good Circuit Design

Abstract
Our objective is to define what an acceptable circuit design is based on
examples. Examples will be chosen in a manner so that each user group will be
satisfied with the results. We will find several examples of circuit designs, and
assign certain condition attributes, which will determine whether the design is
acceptable. Rough mereology offers a general format for the treatment of partial
containment needed to model circuit design. The functionality of a given circuit
X may be subsumed by another circuit Y that adds something to X. Applications
of this project will be useful for computer manufacturers or circuit manufacturers
considering the design of new circuits.
1 Introduction
We will demonstrate the application of rough sets and rough mereology to the
field of circuit design. Circuits have touched every part of our lives and there is
