Towards A Convergence Analysis For The Dual
Reciprocity Method

Abstract
In this paper, we discuss the convergence of the Boundary Element Dual
Reciprocity Method (BEDRM) applied to the solution of two types of par-
tial differential equations. We study some properties of three types of radial
basis functions related to the convergence of the BEDRM with some numer-
ical experiments.
1 Introduction
The boundary element dual reciprocity method (BEDRM) was introduced
in the early eighties [9] for solving partial differential equations (PDEs) in
