Abstract

The influence of blast explosions to neighbouring buried structures is usually identified through 3D-FEM computations of the induced peak particle velocity. Asymptotic models for the prediction of the peak particle velocity, based on experimental data, are also used. In the present paper a new asymptotic "# - model" for the computation of the peak particle velocity is proposed.
