Abstract
The measurement of the radon 2 2 2 ~ concentrations and its short-lived daughter
is one possibility to obtain information on the dynamics of the lower boundary
layer. Short-lived isotopes of polonium, lead and bismuth originate are a result of
the radon decay in air. The idea of thls work is to make the model of mixing
layer heights variation basing on polonium 218~o concentrations. The relation
between emanation of radon from the soil surface and variation of polonium in
the air and mixing layer and meteorological conditions were determined. In
2000-2002 measurements of radon and polonium concentrations
