Incompressible Flow In Granulated Porous
Media With Null Initial Velocity: A Result Of
Existence And Unicity Of Solution

Abstract
In this work we study a Navier-Stokes type equation which models the flow of a
viscous, homogeneous and incompressible fluid in an isotropic granular (non
consolidated) porous media. Using point fixed type arguments we obtain
conditions for existence and unicity of solution for the equation in Holder's
spaces.
1 Introduction
In this work we will show results of existence and unicity of solution for the
following system which represents the flow of a fluid in a granulated porus
media, for example, if we put water in a box of sand, the water will flow through
the sand with the action of gravity:
