Abstract

Stationary solution of coupled heat & mass transfer problem under the non-iso- thermal film absorption has been studied. Further, the linear stability of ob- tained solution by low Reynolds numbers and high Peclet numbers has been in- vestigated. As a result the dispersion ratio that connects thermal and diffusional Marangoni numbers is obtained. It is shown that the thermocapillary instability is predominant by high Peclet and low Luice numbers. 1 Introduction The film absorption process occurs in many industrial chemical and power plant.
