ABSTRACT
In our paper the transition of infrared radiation through the earth's atmosphere and
windows made of heat insulation glass is compared. Special attention is paid to double
heat insulating window glass with IR reflective coating and argon filled interspace.
The possible reduction of heat losses and the resulting reduction of pollution is
outlined.
INTRODUCTION
Energy is the basis of human development: it provides heat and light, while in the
production process it represents one of the fundamentals for the production of goods,
it is the source of life which deserves careful protection. Energy production strategy
and the utilisation of the produced energy may have a significant impact on the entire
