Abstract
The optimization of the transport of the flexible suspended load for overhead
cranes has been worked out. The solution of the problems connected with
oscillation of the flexibly suspended load, positioning of the load, limitation of
the bevel angle of the bridge, and friction of the wheel flanges and power
regulation are presented in this paper. The problems have been solved by means
of a microprocessor automatic and semiautomatic continual control of the speed
of the travelling and traversing mechanisms, and constant power regulation for
hoisting and lowering of the load. The system can be applied to the transport of
